Andrew Goldman grew up in Portland, Maine, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and has been a working writer since. After a stint as a staff writer for the New York Observer, he created the “Cherchez la Femme” column for ELLE Magazine and conducted the one-page “Talk” interview in the New York Times Magazine. His stories have also appeared in Town & Country, New York Magazine, Wired, Bloomberg Businessweek, Esquire and The New Yorker. He is currently a contributing writer at WSJ Magazine. He lives in Westport, Connecticut with his wife, interior designer Robin Henry, and their two sons, Henry and Charlie.
